According to police, 42-year-old Maurice Nasmeh, saw Harms sleeping on
the couch of her Chirco Avenue home in Los Gatos between 12:30 a.m. and 1
a.m. on July 28. Nasmeh claims to have met Harms for the first time just a
few hours earlier at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Campbell.
Harms, 42, was last seen on July 27 at approximately 10 p.m. leaving
the Rock Bottom Brewery in Campbell with a male companion for her home in
Los Gatos. Harms, also known as Jeanine Sanchez, was reported missing the
following Monday by co-workers. Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police officers
have questioned that companion, identified today as Nasmeh, as well as
William Alex Wilson III, who spent time with her earlier the same evening
at the brewery.
On the advice of his attorney, Nasmeh has refused further interviews
with investigators, according to Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Sgt. Tim
Morgan.
Police have searched the homes of Nasmeh and Wilson and taken DNA
samples from both men, Morgan said. Neither man has been named as a
suspect at this time.
Anyone with information about Nasmeh or Jeanine Harms or who saw them
around the time of her disappearance on July 27 is asked to call the Los
